Manasota Key House

Exterior

The exterior composition is defined by a series of linear volumes oriented to capture uninterrupted views of the Gulf. Floor-to-ceiling glazing and deep overhangs create a rhythm of transparency and shade, balancing openness with protection from the coastal climate. A restrained material palette of stone, wood, and glass integrates the architecture with its natural surroundings, while horizontal lines reinforce a strong connection to the horizon. Outdoor terraces and the pool deck extend the living environment toward the water, establishing a seamless relationship between built form and landscape.

Interior

The interior spaces are organized along view corridors, directing attention toward the ocean and maximizing daylight penetration. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls maintain visual continuity to the exterior, while a consistent palette of natural materials carries the architectural language indoors. Open-plan living areas flow into more private zones with minimal use of partitions, enhancing a sense of spatial continuity. Precision detailing in millwork, flooring transitions, and lighting integration reinforces the clean, modern aesthetic, creating an interior environment that is both refined and deeply connected to its coastal setting.
